UW-Madison’s Lisa Cadmus-Bertram’s expertise was recently featured by WalletHub in an article about the Boston Marathon.
Cadmus-Bertram is an assistant professor with the School of Education’s Department of Kinesiology. She directs the Wisconsin Physical Activity Epidemiology Lab.
Cadmus-Bertram answered two questions in an “Ask the Experts” section, along with a panel of other selected experts in the article. She spoke about the positive impacts of the Boston Marathon on the local economy, and also answered a question with advice for a non-professional, first-time participant to the Boston Marathon.
“Run for enjoyment and experience rather than time. Boston is not the fastest course but can be an experience of a lifetime. Run in the moment and enjoy sharing this time with your fellow runners,” answered Cadmus-Bertram.
