Cindy Kuhrasch, the program coordinator of the PETE program was recently featured on NPR’s Ideas network. During their time together Cindy and Larry Meiller discussed the differences between and the benefits of physical activity and exercise. They also spoke with callers about the physical, mental, and emotional benefits of activity, especially during the pandemic. Cindy wants everyone to know the physical activity is very accessible- whether it is enjoying a walk on a nice day, golfing with friends on the weekend, or dancing around to your favorite music! Anyone can find joy in physical activity – you just have to find the activity that is right for you and it may just change your life!

What activities do you enjoy? Tune in to their discussion and share your comments here- https://www.wpr.org/shows/no-matter-what-you-call-it-being-active-important
