PhD Student, Jess Gorzelitz, Passes Preliminary Exams

Jessica (Jess) Gorzelitz, a second year PhD student in Dr. Lisa Cadmus-Bertram’s Physical Activity Epidemiology Lab, successfully passed her preliminary examinations over winter break. She has now advanced to candidacy status to work on her dissertation, which will focus on exercise interventions in survivors of gynecologic cancer. Her specific research interests include women’s health, women with endometrial cancer, and resistance training interventions in female populations. Members of her preliminary examination committee included Dr. Lisa Cadmus-Bertram (chair), Dr. Kelli Koltyn and Dr. Amy Trentham-Dietz.  Congrats Jess!
