Stephanie is attending SACNAS 2019 
– the National Diversity in STEM conference. This is the first time she has attended, and the conference is very unique in that each attendee’s background, culture, and identity are celebrated along side their scientific work. It is a great environment to interact with budding researchers and scientists while also celebrating the diversity that exists within STEM. She has been enjoying talking to students about their research during their presentations and interacting with undergraduate and graduate students at the UW Madison Graduate Booth (#1721).
